hi

I am toya from sao paulo, brasil. Living in SF for a year now. I am co-founder of san francisco community colo (sfccp.net). Also involved with a couple of tech collectives from brasil, indymedia brasil tech (brasil.indymedia.org) collective and birosca.org. Started techmeet.org in 2005 in Brasil and keep working with it.

things I have interest on: free radio and tv/eletronics/computers/civil rights on the internet/voip/skill share
(all depends on what type of hardware or eletronic device i have with me - I like to mix things and build tools that are useful for other people who are doing good work to change this world)

I worked forever doing skill share and computer recycling with poor communities in brasil - all with free software (using satellite connection). I worked for some time migrating IT departments in the government of brasil from proprietary software to free software solutions.
