Centralized models are increasingly mismatched with the world as it is, and if we are to become resilient and sustainable, we must change the way we see it - because reality isn't going to change just to humor us.

We can count on some things in the future - climate change, rising sea levels and black swan collapses. Creating the possibility for a resilient and sustainable future requires the ability to look at what is, as well as what can be.

Our current system only works for a small fraction of the people on the planet. That needs to change if our species has much hope for long term survival.
